Crash

Regular readers will no doubt have by now noticed the prolonged absence of The Apprentice. This has been caused by my recent car crash. Unfortunately, for various reasons I don't feel very comfortable writing about it in a public forum, so you'll have to make do with a bullet point precis about my state:

- I had a serious car crash on the 24th of November
- I have a badly broken left leg and a broken left collar bone
- I had emergency surgery for 4 hours after the accident and spent 10 days in hospital recovering
- I am now moving around on crutches
- I expect to be well enough to walk sometime in mid January to end January
- Between my leg and my collar bone I have enough metal in my body to make air travel to the US a challenging task at best

I hope to be able to return to this blog with more light hearted comments, repartie and analysis sometime during the Christmas break or in January, but for now I'm just focusing on recovering.
